Hello my name is Johnny and today I am going to be convincing you that and arguing homework should be banned for good. This is a brief outline of the reasons I’ll be talking about. Children are busy and kids need to play and it creates stress to hand it in on time. So get ready for a wild ride!

Firstly, everyone knows that children are busy because kids DO have a life out of school with sport or family outings or play dates and other commitments.

Secondly, kids NEED to play. Kids spend hours cramped in a little classroom all day, plus they need exercise so when you get home instead of doing more work at home stop that homework and get of your couch and go play outside!

Finally, it creates stress to hand homework in on time. Older students may take forever trying to finish their homework really late and you need energy for the next day. And kids need that self-esteem.

We have gone from children being too busy for homework, to kids needing to play, to too much stress it causes. I hope you have agreed to agree with me that homework should be banned once and for all!
